Amy Winehouse looks glowing as she arrives back in London after Brazil trip

It was technically a 'work' trip when Amy Winehouse was booked to perform five comeback gigs in Brazil.

But after spending her free time relaxing by the pool and getting some much needed sunshine, the singer looked glowing as she arrived back in London yesterday.

Now drug-free for over a year, the soul singer looked glam in a patterned dress and brown cardigan - and of course her signature ballet shoes - as she walked through Heathrow's arrivals hall.

The low-cut dress gave onlookers an eyeful of her 32D cleavage following a £35,000 boob job in October 2009.

Over the past two weeks, she has been staying at the £700-per-night Santa Teresa hotel in Rio De Janeiro - a base for her five gigs in the South American country.

It's rumoured that as well as being happy that she's finally back playing live, she is apparently pocketing a £5million cheque for just five shows.

Amy is insisting that she has been clean and drug free for a year, after seeing a photo of herself last January looking wild and messed up.

She previously said of the picture, which showed her pale, gaunt and covered in cuts: 'I thought: "Girl, you've got to sort yourself out or you'll be dead soon".'

However, being clean hasn't yet resulted in the hoped-for burst of creativity, with the only new material announced so far a song which will feature on Quincy Jones's new tribute album Q: Soul Bossa Nostra

A follow-up to her smash-hit 2006 second album Back To Black has been in the pipeline for the past four years, but the singer's personal battles have hitherto got in the way of her progressing with her recording career.

However, now that she seems physically back to her best and having turned in some good comeback performances so far in Brazil, there are high hopes that her new album will see the light of day as planned in 2011 - giving Amy even more to grin about.
