- The bizarre man responsible for this monstrosity is Mr. Sato. He was considerate enough to call Burger King 3 days ahead of time in order to ask if 1000 slices of cheese could be put on a Whopper. The manager graciously agreed to let him have it his way and 3 days later he went to the store to pick it up — all 25 lbs of it. Mr. Sato managed to finish about 350 slices before giving up, explaining: “It tastes good, but if I eat any more I won’t have room for dinner.”
